On April 15, 2021 within the project "Protection of children in migration processes in Shymkent and Turkestan region" with the support of UNICEF Children's Fund, the European Union and the Commissioner for Human Rights in Kazakhstan children living in Zhambyl region who are in migration received backpacks for preschool children and sanitary kits. In the course of the "Month of Kindness" charity event of the Council of Mothers under the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in Zhambyl region, employees of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" provided this humanitarian assistance to children of migrants from Tajikistan.

On April 15, 2021 was held an online seminar on the topic "Establishment National Focal Points (NFP) to Protect Child Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings", which brought together representatives of the ECPAT International, OSCE, as well as non-governmental organizations.

During the meeting, the issues of creating national contact centers in OSCE member countries and how they can help in day-to-day work, what steps should be taken to implement this model, obstacles to the creation of an NFP and ways to overcome them were discussed.

"In Shymkent employees of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" and Migration Service helped a 36-year-old man obtain a certificate.

Police officers, together with the Public Association "Legal Center for Women's Initiatives "Sana Sezim", conduct an action to identify persons with undefined status to obtain citizenship documents of the Republic of Kazakhstan or a certificate of a stateless person. As part of this action, members of the Migration Service of the Enbekshi District Police Department helped a 36-year-old man obtain a certificate of statelessness.

On April 7, 2021 in the framework of the pilot project on creation of mobile groups in the regions for information and preventive work in the field of combating trafficking in persons visits and meetings with local administration representatives, law enforcement agencies and the population of Sayram and Tulkibas regions of Turkestan oblast were organized.

On 1^st of April 2021the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" has completed the second month of a series of trainings under the program "Smart Navigator" within the framework of the project "Safe Migration in Central Asia", funded by the USAID and implemented by the Winrock International! The 3 months long program provides 30 students from the Industrial and Technical College with information about safe migration and the skills needed to make a decision in the case of labor migration.

On March 29, 2021within the framework of the joint project with the UNHCR "Legal assistance to stateless persons in Turkestan, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl regions and Shymkent city", a meeting with Mr. Komolov Bakhtiyor, attaché on labor migration issues and Mr. Makhmudjanov Farhod, representative of the agency for external labor migration under the Ministry of Employment and Labor Relations of Uzbekistan, was held at the General Consulate of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Almaty.

Further cooperation on the reduction of statelessness and the possibility of carrying out joint activities were discussed. We would like to take this opportunity to thank the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Almaty for the hospitality and cooperation!

On March 26, 2021as part of the “Safe Migration in Central Asia Project”, funded by the USAID and implemented by the Winrock International, workers of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" together with representatives of the Migration Service conducted an information campaign that took place at the migration department of the Al-Farabi District Police Department. Representatives of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" and the Migration Service informed the population about safe migration and the assistance provided by the organization under the project.

On March 17 and 19, 2021,under the USAID-funded "Safe Migration in Central Asia" project implemented by Winrock International, the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" conducted a two-day training on "Capacity Building of State Agency Representatives to Provide Services to Victims of Human Trafficking" in Shymkent city and the Turkestan Oblast.

On March 18, 2021,the Industrial and Technical College organized a seminar-meeting on the "Protection of Minors' Rights". Representatives of education, health and law enforcement agencies working directly with minors and their parents discussed the rights of minors in the Republic of Kazakhstan and at the international level. In the framework of the joint project with the UNHCR, Elina Yenikeyeva, who is a lawyer of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim", made a presentation on "The protection of the rights of minors, problematic issues in the documentation of minors".
