The Booklet “To the migrant about his rights” is intended for the migrants who come to Kazakhstan for work. It contains information about the rights of migrant workers, the rules of staying in Kazakhstan, the information that one needs to know for working legally and how to avoid crisis situation and which organizations deal with the rights of labor migrants.

 

 

This booklet is intended for parents and employer with the purpose of prevention of the worst forms of child labour. It contains information about the reasons of using child labour, the importance of eradication of the worst forms of child labour, children’s rights stated by the legislation of Kazakhstan.

 

 

 

The booklet “Child and Violence” is intended for adults and aimed at the prevention of violence against children. The booklet contains information about the signs that determine that a child is exposed to violence, how the violence against children manifests itself and the ways of helping children.

The booklet contains information about the notion of trafficking, the ways of women’s involvement in human trafficking, the consequences of illegal employment; it offers contacts of organizations that assist women who happen to be in difficult life situations.

 

 

 

The brochure “The pocket handbook for migrant workers” will be a reliable information source for labour migrants and refugees and it will also be useful for social and state structures that want to take part in the solution of illegal migration problems in Kazakhstan.

 

 

 

The methodological manual for creation of monitoring model on observance of child’s rights contains material on creation of pilot model of the Center for protection of child’s rights and interests: organization of help to children and families, work of psychological and social services and helpline.

The manual “Gender education” is elaborated for conducting trainings among women for overcoming gender inequality between men and women.  There were used the materials from the methodological manual “Authorized education” which was prepared by “Sana Sezim” under the finance support of Soros Foundation – Kazakhstan. The present manual can be used for conducting trainings among women, mixed groups, representatives of state structures, young people and dwellers of rural areas.
