The information booklet is intended for people who do not have identity documents, have the Soviet union passport, or do not have proof of citizenship of any country. It contains contact information of the migration service in the city of Shymkent, as well as organizations that provide assistance with documentation in such cities as Shymkent, Taraz, Kyzylorda.
In a pandemic, migrant workers became the most vulnerable - it is difficult for them to return home, and also work ceased due to quarantine. Migrants also face discrimination and often cannot receive adequate medical care in their host countries. Together with Winrock International, which implements the USAID’s Safe Migration Project in Central Asia, recommendations were collected on how to protect migrant workers in Kazakhstan from Central Asia and other countries and where to apply.

There were used the materials from the methodological manual “Authorized education” which was prepared by “Sana Sezim” under the finance support of Soros Foundation – Kazakhstan. The present manual can be used for conducting trainings among women, mixed groups, representatives of state structures, young people and dwellers of rural areas.
