THE SECOND MONTH OF THE "SMART NAVIGATOR" TRAINING SERIES IS ENDED

On 1st of April 2021the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" has completed the second month of a series of trainings under the program "Smart Navigator" within the framework of the project "Safe Migration in Central Asia", funded by the USAID and implemented by the Winrock International! The 3 months long program provides 30 students from the Industrial and Technical College with information about safe migration and the skills needed to make a decision in the case of labor migration.

In March 2021 the staff of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" conducted 4 trainings on topics related to safe migration. During the 5th session the trainers explained what rights children have and spoke about types of migration. During the 6th session, participants learned how to express their opinions correctly and manage their emotions. In Session 7, they learned how to recognize traffickers by asking questions and asserting their rights. During Session 8, the trainers of the NGO "Sana Sezim" explained the 5-step decision-making scheme. In order to help students better absorb the information they learned, after the theoretical part the students did practical exercises such as working in small groups and in pairs and staging skits.

There is another month of exciting sessions ahead on topics such as creating and using a safe migration list, safety en route and upon arrival, what students should do if they become victims of human trafficking, transferring knowledge to others, and activities in their community.
