On November 29, 2022 in Taraz, within the project "Provision of legal assistance to stateless persons in Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Turkestan Oblasts and Shymkent" was held a round table.

The event entitled "Identification and provision of legal aid to stateless persons in Zhambyl oblast" was attended by representatives of the Department of Justice of Zhambyl oblast, the Department of Employment and Social Programs, the Department of Education, the Department of Health, the Zhambyl Oblast Police Department, the Zhambyl Oblast Migration Police Department, the Taraz City Center for resocialization of people in difficult situations and the Public Position PF. During the event they discussed the results of the project this year, the identification of undocumented persons in Zhambyl oblast, registration of their birth, provision of medical care and access to education for undocumented children. Participants discussed joint plans for next year, noting the effectiveness of interagency partnership.
