SECOND MEETING OF THE INTERDEPARTMENTAL WORKING GROUP TO DEVELOP A DRAFT LAW ON COMBATING HUMAN TRAFFICKING IN THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN
On November 19, 2022 in Astana the second meeting of the Interdepartmental Working Group to develop a draft law "On Combating Human Trafficking in the Republic of Kazakhstan" was held. This meeting was held under the chairmanship of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RK with the participation of Deputy Minister, Major General Sadenov E. S., Secretary of the Commission on Human Rights under the President of the RK - Abishev T. D., as well as all interested state agencies, non-governmental and international organizations, whose competence is aimed at combating human trafficking in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Together with the participants of the working group, the text of the draft law, which as of today includes 9 chapters and 33 articles, was reviewed. The main purpose of this draft law is to regulate social relations in the sphere of combating human trafficking and is aimed at implementing government policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
