ONLINE TRAINING COURSE "IMPLEMENTATION OF A SERVICE MODEL FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN'S RIGHTS IN MIGRATION PROCESSES IN KAZAKHSTAN"

From 13 to 17 July 2020,employees of NGO "Sana Sezim" took part in an online training course: "Implementation of a service model for the protection of children's rights in migration processes in Kazakhstan."

Within the framework of the joint project "Protection of Children in Migration Processes in Kazakhstan" of the UNICEF Office in Kazakhstan and the Ombudsman for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the financial support and assistance of the European Union, a "Practical Guide for NGOs to Support Children in Migration Processes" was developed. UNICEF in Kazakhstan, together with KIBHR Nur-Sultan, PF “Rodnik” Almaty and NGO “Sana Sezim” Shymkent, took part in the development of the guide. UNICEF engaged Coram International as consultants to help develop and test a model of child rights protection services in the cities of Nur-Sultan, Almaty, Shymkent and Turkestan region.

The purpose of training:

  • Good understanding of the role of NGOs and other key stakeholders in the provision of the Child Migration Service Model (CMP).
  • Developed a clear understanding of the division of roles and responsibilities between your team in the implementation of the Program.
  • Deepen your knowledge and understanding of the steps and procedures involved in the implementation of the Program, including procedural guidelines, privacy policies and children's rights policies.
  • Strengthen your practical skills in implementing the Program and using case management tools.
