On July 15, 2020at 3 pm, the second meeting was held to discuss the draft of the third periodic report on the implementation of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights. The meeting was held at the platform of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan online, the draft of the third periodic report under the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights was discussed.

During the meeting, the articles of the Covenant on International Civil and Political Rights were discussed. The meeting was attended by the Ministry of Information and Social Development, the Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Justice, the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General prosecutor's office, as well as non-governmental organizations.
