On December 18, 2019, Public fund “Erkindik kanaty” organized “Human Rights Talks”, a series of actions devoted to the International Day of Human Rights, which is celebrated annually on December 10. Altynai Kambekova from the “Feminita”, Tatiana Chernobyl from the Amnesty International, a YouTube blogger Murat Daniyar, Shakhnoza Khassanova from the NGO “Sana Sezim” delivered a speech on the event.

The participants learned about the experience of the YouTube channel JURTTYŃ BALASY in covering political news, benefits of feminism for the Kazakhstani society, human rights and the rights of migrants. In support of the International Day of Migrants, celebrated on 18 December, Shakhnoza Khassanova shared with the participants about protecting migrants’ rights and the activities of the NGO “Sana Sezim” in assisting vulnerable migrants.
