November 25-27, 2019 in Taldykorgan, an international conference was organized by the NeMolchiKZ Public Foundation with the support of the National Commission for Women and Family and Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Akimat of Almaty Region, the UN Women in the Republic of Kazakhstan, OSCE Programme Office in Nur-Sultan, ROO URANKZ, KUN.KZ, United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The speakers were representatives of international organizations, public associations, as well as experts from Kazakhstan, Ukraine, the UK, Russia, and Uzbekistan. Participants: representatives of parent committees, principals of schools, and psychologists, employees of local Police Departments, juvenile police, NGOs, prosecutors, investigators, employees of shelters, guardianship agencies, the entire administrative structure of the city of Taldykorgan, gynecologists, therapists, college students and other. The conference highlighted such issues as suppression of violence, prevention of domestic violence, an algorithm for assisting victims of violence, consequences for the mental and physical health of victims of domestic violence, etc.
