From 29 – 31 May 2017, representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the South Kazakhstan region jointly with the civil society (NGO "Sana Sezim", "Anarar үyi") conducted among the population in South Kazakhstan region the preventive measures of "Turmys" aimed at preventing domestic violence in families, crimes on the basis of alcoholism, as well as offenses.

During the event, educational work on the national legislation of the RK on the prevention of domestic violence was carried out among disadvantaged families. Information materials with contact details of organizations that help families in a crisis situation were distributed.
