Within the peacemaking content of the Republic of Kazakhstan and realization of UN SC Resolution 1325 to increase the role of women in prevention and regulation of conflicts, UN Women in Central Asia has conducted a high-level meeting and round table in Astana on 26 – 27 November 2015. Heads of government ministries and departments have taken part with the purpose of further incorporation of recommendations into the new Strategy of Gender development for YY2017 – 2027.

On 26 November 2015 a working practical meeting was held with associate state bodies and NGOs to discuss the realization in Kazakhstan of UNSCR 1325 concerning Women and Peace and Security. NGO LCWI Sana Sezim was represented by Khadicha Abysheva and Shakhnoza Khassanova.
