Project timeline: August 2014 – March 2015.

Geography project: 4 Oblasts of Southern Kazakhstan: (South Kazakhstan, Almaty, Kyzylorda, Zhambyl).

Objective: Improve the level of legal awareness among population and moving forward the human rights issues in Southern Kazakhstan by management and coordination of NGO network in the Oblasts.

Tasks:

• Strengthen organizational potential of 20 NGOs of Southern Kazakhstan;
• Improve NGO network of Southern Kazakhstan on moving forward the human rights issues and access to justice among socially vulnerable population;
• Provide support to socially vulnerable population by management and coordination monitoring of mini-projects of 15 NGOs in Southern Kazakhstan.

Target group:

• Almaty Oblast – 6 NGOs;
• South Kazakhstan Oblast – 5 NGOs;
• Zhambyl Oblast – 2 NGOs;
• Kyzylorda Oblast – 2 NGOs.
