On June 1^st, 2021 the final meeting of the Coordinating Council was held as part of the program "Protection of children in the migration processes in Kazakhstan" with the support of the European Union, UNICEF in Kazakhstan and the Commissioner for Human Rights in Kazakhstan.

During the meeting, NGOs implementing the pilot program presented their results. 3 NGOs in Shymkent (NGO "Sana Sezim"), Almaty (NGO "Rodnik") and Nur-Sultan (NGO “KIBHR”) were involved in the project. Conclusions and recommendations of the analysis of national legislation on the protection of children in migration processes were announced. And speakers from stakeholders such as the Ministry of Education and Science, UNICEF, IOM and UNHCR noted the importance of cooperation in protecting the rights of children in migration processes and the importance of projects that help change the lives of children for the better.
