On May 26, 2021 staff members of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" took part in the 40th meeting of the Interagency Commission on Combating Illegal Export, Import and trafficking in persons.

Representatives of the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the RK, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the RK, the Ministry of Education and Science of the RK, the National Security Committee of the RK and local executive bodies delivered a report on the results of ongoing work to prevent human trafficking, on measures to prevent the exploitation of child labor, on the work of the Commission on Juvenile Affairs and Protection of their Rights on human trafficking among children. The meeting also covered the situation on human trafficking in Kazakhstan in light of the recommendations voiced in the U.S. Department of State's 2019 report on human trafficking. At the end of the meeting, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and discuss situations arising in the course of their work with representatives of stakeholders.
