HOT FOOD FOR 180 MIGRANTS FROM THE REPUBLIC OF TAJIKISTAN ON THE BORDER OF KAZAKHSTAN WITH UZBEKISTAN AT THE ZHIBEK ZHOLY CHECKPOINT

For four days, from October 13 to 17 of 2020, the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" has provided 180 migrants from the Republic of Tajikistan with hot meals and packages of personal care products on the border of Kazakhstan with Uzbekistan at the Zhibek Zholy checkpoint. The project lawyer provided mobile legal advice to migrants on documents and explained the border crossing process during the COVID-19.

Since the beginning (September 2020) of the project "Safe Migration in Central Asia," funded by the USAID and implemented jointly with the Winrock International, 630 migrants from the Republic of Tajikistan received hot meals, personal hygiene products and legal advice.
