From January 5^th, 2011 "Sana Sezim" began the project “Life without violence - the right of every woman” under the financial support of the Open Society Institute (Budapest).

The project activities are designed for 12 months.

The aim of the project is to provide services to women with problems of domestic violence. The project will be implemented in the city of Shymkent. The victims of domestic violence will be provided with legal and psychological assistance, there will also operate a hotline for victims of violence.

Project activities are focused on the analysis of the implementation of the law on domestic violence and the formation of the data. At the national level there will be carried out the advocacy work to promote the ideas of preventing violence and promoting the shelters. The project will be implemented in collaboration with the organizations of Astana and Almaty, dealing with the protection of women's rights.
