A training session was held for the youth of Shymkent Higher Medical College, aimed at enhancing legal literacy and understanding the principles of gender equality.
During the event, participants discussed key aspects of human rights, the role of youth in protecting women’s rights, and the importance of an active civic position in today’s society .
By investing in youth knowledge today, we are building the foundation for a fair and equal society tomorrow.

A training session aimed at enhancing students’ legal literacy and awareness of their rights was held at the Industrial-Technical College.
Topics covered during the training:

  • Human rights and gender equality.
  • How to protect your rights and where to seek help.
  • Practical advice for safe learning and everyday life.

Why this matters:
The training served as a platform for open dialogue and experience sharing, helping students build confidence and take greater responsibility for their actions.
Young people are actively interested in their rights and ready to take action!

November 28, 2025

An outreach consultation meeting was held in Zhetysai District as part of the UNHCR project’s identification campaign for undocumented persons.
Lawyers from our organization, together with migration service officers, provided citizen reception. During the consultation, people applied for assistance if they had lost documents, previously had no documents, held passports from the USSR era, or in adulthood only had birth certificates.

Specialists provided individual consultations and legal guidance on the next steps for documentation: procedures for restoring documents, submitting applications to the authorized authorities, and access to basic services.

In Shymkent, a training was held organized by the PA "Legal Center for Women's Initiatives 'Sana Sezim'" with the support of the Canadian Fund for Local Initiatives (CFLI). The event aimed to strengthen the professional competencies of specialists working with women facing discrimination, violence, and barriers to accessing justice.
Training Objective:
To enhance the capacity of government agencies, social services, and NGOs to more effectively protect women's rights and ensure a gender-sensitive approach when handling cases.

A mobile outreach visit was conducted in the Shardara district by specialists from PA “Legal Center for Women's Initiatives Sana Sezim” in cooperation with the Migration Service, aimed at supporting undocumented residents.
During the visit, local community members received free legal consultations, explanations on procedures for document restoration, and guidance on submitting applications to the relevant authorities.
Such mobile outreach efforts help provide timely assistance to people living in remote areas, ensuring access to essential information and necessary support.

Field Meeting in Maktaaral District under the UNHCR ProjectSpecialists from our organization, together with the Migration Service, conducted on-site consultations, providing participants with legal information and answers to individual questions.

Beneficiaries were informed about document recovery procedures, the process of applying to government authorities, and access to essential services.
Such field meetings make it possible to provide timely support to people who particularly need access to documents and protection of their rights.

An interactive training session was held at Secondary School No. 2 named after Sh. Ualikhanov in the city of Lenger as part of the project “Justice for Women: Equality in Action”, supported by the Embassy of Canada in Kazakhstan (CFLI).

The participants discussed human rights, equal opportunities, and protection against discrimination and violence. They also took part in a creative activity — designing posters illustrating different types of violence and ways to prevent them.

Such initiatives not only help enhance the legal awareness of young people but also foster values of equality, respect, and responsibility in building a safe society.

A follow-up training for youth was held at Aibek Secondary School №14 as part of the ongoing program of the project "Justice for Women: Equality in Action", implemented with the support of CFLI.

This event is part of systematic efforts to increase legal literacy among teenagers and foster a culture of respect and safety.
