Training for government officials “Labor migration without risks” was held in Shymkent
On 25 – 26 July 2011 there was a training for government officials “Labor government without risks” held in Shymkent. Trainees were representatives of migration police and state organizations on migration and human traffic counteraction.

On 18 – 20 July 2011 Economic symposium of women of Central Asia and Afghanistan was held in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan.
The work of symposium was done in the following sections:
Seminar “Domestic violence of women. Problems and ways of their solving”
Al Farabisky District Police Department of Shymkent city, the Committee for Women and Social Demographic Policy of the South Kazakhstan Oblast Akim’s Office and NGO “Sana Sezim” facilitated a seminar “Domestic violence of women. Problems and ways of resolving them”.
The Republican conference “Sustainable strategies of providing the social services for children and youth from low-income and socially vulnerable categories of population”
On 13 – 14 2011 there was the Republican conference “Sustainable strategies of providing the social services for children and youth from socially vulnerable categories of population” organizedin Astana. The facilitators of this conference were “Bota” Public Foundation and UNICEF.
Round table “Enhancement of mechanisms of participation of civil society in the development and realization of migration policy”
On 14 June 2011 a round table “Enhancement of mechanisms of participation of civil society in the development and realization of migration policy” was spent in Shymkent.
The issues of approaching the concepts of social integration of labor migrants to the host community, were discussed on the round table.
Training for the labor inspectors on migration management and counteraction to human traffic
On 13 June 2011 International Organization for Migration (IOM) in cooperation with UN Women, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the RK and NGO “Sana Sezim” have conducted a training for labor inspectors on migration management and counteraction to human trade.
National informational campaign “12 days of fight against child labor”
From 1 through 12 June 2011 South Kazakhstan Oblast Department on child rights protection, SKO Department of Education, SKO Interior Department, NGO “Sana Sezim” carried out raids in the parks, large trade centers, markets, and car wash points of Abaisky, Enbekshinsky and Al-Farabi Districts of Shymkent, within the Nation

On this day International Children’s Day is celebrated almost in all countries. It is not only one of the most joyful holidays for children, but it is also a reminder for grown-ups that children need constant care and protection and adults are responsible for them.
