Training for Trainers “Mechanism of protection of human rights by providing access to justice” was held in Shymkent on 9 – 11 February 2015 for 20 undergraduate lawyer students. This ToT was conducted by representatives of NGO “Legal Center of Women’s Initiatives Sana Sezim” within the framework of realization of the project “Human rights protection by providing access to justice” under the financial support of US Embassy.

December 13, 2013 in Astana hosted a roundtable discussion on the results and recommendations of the "Equality before the law" programm. NGO "Sana Sezim" was the main contractor of the project in Kazakhstan. At the round table was attended by representatives of government agencies, international organizations and partners who contributed to the realization of the project in South Kazakhstan. Participants were video presentation and draft recommendations.

Human trafficking – big problem all over the world, including in Kazakhstan. Its main victims of human trafficking stay are children and women. There are various forms of human trafficking, but the most common - trafficking in women in the sex industry.
