On November 30, 2022, under the "Combating Trafficking in Persons and Promoting Safe Migration in Shymkent and Turkestan Oblast" project, with the support of USAID and Winrock International, organized and conducted regular training on combating trafficking in persons.

Another round table on "Identification and provision of legal aid to stateless persons in the city of Shymkent and Turkestan Oblast" was held on December 2, 2022 in the city of Kyzylorda.

As part of the project "Provision of legal aid to stateless persons in Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Turkestan Oblasts and Shymkent city" experts of state organizations, law enforcement agencies and interested parties who provide services to stateless persons discussed the project results for the current year and shared their plans for next year.

On 1 December 2022 a round table was held at the office of Civic Alliance in Shymkent city as part of the project "Provision of legal assistance to stateless persons in Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Turkestan Oblasts and Shymkent city".

On World AIDS Day, which is annually celebratedon December 1, NGO "Sana Sezim" and the students of the Peoples' Friendship University conducted acampaign to raise awareness about HIV/AIDS in the largest concentrations of people in Shymkent.

During the event, residents and guests of the city on the Arbat were explained the significance of this day, red ribbons, which are a symbol of this day, and information brochures on domestic violence in support of the international campaign "16 days without violence" were distributed.

On November 29, 2022 in Taraz, within the project "Provision of legal assistance to stateless persons in Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Turkestan Oblasts and Shymkent" was held a round table.

On November 25, 2022 the 16 days action against gender violence started all over the world. During 16 days organizations and activists under the slogan "Together we will end violence against women and girls!" carry out activities raising awareness about gender violence.

On November 24, 2022 in Astana at the event with the participation of the heads of the central law enforcement and state bodies, representatives of non-governmental and other interested civil organizations the presentation of the 2021 Consolidated Monitoring Report of the National Preventive Mechanism (NPM) took place.

During the event organized by the Commissioner for Human Rights in the Republic of Kazakhstan, National Preventive Mechanism for Torture Prevention, OSCE Program Office in Astana, Sigrid Rausing Trust and NGO "Dignity" comprehensive analysis of revealed violations in closed state institutions was conducted and reasonable recommendations on prevention of such violations were developed.

An official visit to the office of NGO "Sana Sezim" from the Office of the U.S. State Department's Office on Monitoring and Combating Trafficking in Persons, Mr. Chane Corp, took place.

With participation of Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Colonel General M.M. Akhmetjanov, acting Head of Mission of International Organization for Migration in Central Asia, Suren Undraa, Commissioner on Human Rights, Mrs. E. Azimova, Commission on Human Rights under the President of RK, Mr. T.D. Abishev, and representatives of Administration of President of RK, deputies, participants of IWG considered draft law "On counteraction against human trafficking in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

A draft law comprising 9 chapters and more than 30 articles was presented.

A joint evaluation of the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and KIBHR and NGO “Sana Sezim” partners was conducted. This activity aimed to identify the problems of persons of concern to UNHCR, their stories, potential needs and intentions to change the strategy of solutions aimed at integration and sustainability.
