On February 1, 2024, the Republican seminar "An inclusive approach to the integration of migrant children in education" was held. This event was held within the framework of the project (IOM SBCC) "Protection of vulnerable migrants with a special focus on the empowerment of women in the context of migration in Central Asia" with the support of the IOM of Kazakhstan and financial support from the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Morethan 120 participants from different cities of Kazakhstan gathered to share experiences and promote inclusive approaches that contribute to the successful integration of migrant children into educational institutions. Representatives of JSC "NCAT "Orleu", the National Security Committee of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Department of Education of the Aktobe region, PA LCWI“Sana Sezim” and PF “Deris-2016” made presentations on important topics: the attitude of society to migrant children, as well as the view of migrants and their children from various population groups.

The event became a platform for sharing experiences, making recommendations and creating strategies aimed at creating a warmer and more inclusive educational space for migrant children.
