On December 10, 2023, PA LCWI “Sana Sezim” launched the project "Improving Migration Management and Access to services for displaced Afghans in Pakistan and Central Asia", implemented jointly with the International Organization for Migration in Kazakhstan.On November 28, 2023, we launched an important mission aimed at supporting vulnerable migrants, including Afghans and their family members in Shymkent city and Turkestan region.

Withinthe framework of the project, vulnerable migrants, including migrants from Afghanistan and their family members in the city of Shymkent and in the districts of the Turkestan region, will be covered by awareness-raising activities with information on existing rights and usual ways of safe and humane migration, access to social services (including medical care).

Employeesof the administration of rural areas of the Turkestan region and the city of Shymkent will take part in the round table, it is assumed that they will serve as a front line for sending migrants to receive necessary services.

Thisproject is the result of a successful partnership aimed at helping to improve the lives and support those who are looking for security and new opportunities. We are confident that through joint efforts we will be able to take important steps towards a more humane world.
