SAFE MIGRATION IN CENTRAL ASIA.

TheInternational Volunteer Day is celebrated annually on December 5, and this is especially significant in light of the events taking place within the framework of the USAID project "Safe Migration in Central Asia", implemented by Winrock International. Within the framework of this project, an important event took place – a Youth Forum for graduates of the “Smart Navigator” youth preventive program.

The project "Safe Migration in Central Asia" is aimed at promoting safe migration and countering human trafficking, which is an urgent task in the modern world. The Youth Forum was timed to coincide with the International Volunteer Day, emphasizing the importance of voluntary contribution to ensuring the safety and well-being of society.

Forumparticipants representing various regions of Kazakhstan gathered to discuss key topics related to migration issues. During the event, such important aspects as child begging, labor exploitation, cybercrime, educational migration, as well as the relationship between climate change and migration were touched upon.

Specialattention was paid to the activity of the participants from Shymkent, who showed great interest and involvement in the discussion of issues related to safe migration. Their participation highlights the importance of sharing the experiences and opinions of young people from different regions in order to develop effective strategies to counter migration problems.

Onthis International Volunteer Day, let us together recognize and appreciate the contribution of all participants, volunteers and organizations working for the benefit of society and contributing to the creation of a safe and sustainable future. Volunteers are our real heroes, and their efforts are aimed at changing the world for the better!
