TRAINING WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE PROJECT "ACTIONS OF KAZAKHSTAN IN THE FIGHT AGAINST CHILD TRAFFICKING"
We are in a hurry to share great news! PA LCWI “Sana Sezim” has completed a series of trainings within the framework of the project "Actions of Kazakhstan in the fight against child trafficking", which is supported by the US Department of State and Winrock International.
Over the course of three weeks, our trainers conducted three three-day trainings for service providers on identifying trafficked children, managing their cases and providing them with assistance, focusing on approaches that take into account the interests of children and their psychological trauma.
The very first training started in Shymkent on October 10 and ended on October 12, 2023. Then we moved our mission to the city of Turkestan, where, from October17 to 19, 2023, we brought together employees of the Department of Education, the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, the Department of Health, the Police Department and representatives of non-governmental organizations working in the field of combating human trafficking and providing assistance to children affected by child trafficking. Participants from the city of Kyzylorda and the districts of the Kyzylorda region spent the Republic Day at an interesting and important training, which took place on October 23-25.
Rememberingthese events, we would like to express our deep gratitude to the participants. The participants not only sought to gain maximum knowledge, but also asked interesting and important questions, showed interest in the assistance provided by other service providers, and actively discussed the importance of interdepartmental cooperation.
