TRAINING FOR SERVICE PROVIDERS TO IDENTIFY TRAFFICKED CHILDREN IN THE CITY OF TURKESTAN.

The training, which took place from October17 to 19, brought together employees of the Department of Education, the Department for the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs, the Department of Health, the Police Department and non-governmental organizations of the Turkestan region working in the field of combating human trafficking and providing assistance to children affected by child trafficking.

Experiencedtrainers from the PA LCWI “Sana Sezim” shared their knowledge and skills in identifying victims of child trafficking, managing their cases and providing them with assistance, with a special focus on approaches that take into account the interests of children and their psychological trauma. In addition to the theoretical component, participants had the opportunity to practice through group tasks and interactive games. The participants were particularly interested in real cases of human trafficking and child trafficking, presented by experienced trainers and documentary materials.

Aftercompleting the training and collecting feedback, the participants expressed their desire to participate in other activities dedicated to the problem of child trafficking. This confirms our hope that the project "Kazakhstan's Actions in combating child Trafficking", supported by the U.S. Department of State and Winrock International, will successfully continue and develop.
