Project Timeline:October 1, 2023 - May 31, 2025

Project Geography:Shymkent city.

Goal:increasing the level of knowledge and digital skills in learning among children in migration processes and children in need of programs to replenish knowledge under the innovative language initiative “Akelius”, which helps teachers improve literacy in children through activities using an application and tablets.

Target group:teachers and students of schools in the city of Shymkent.

Expected results:

• the Akelius application is successfully used in 6 schools in Shymkent for teaching Russian and English languages (May 2025);
• minimum 24 teachers (minimum 3 teachers per school) trained to use the app and blended learning (May 2025);
• by the end of May 2025, 700 children aged 6 to 18 years old were using the Akelius app to learn languages.
