“Kazakhstan’s Action to Combat Child Trafficking” Office for Monitoring and Combating Trafficking in Persons of the US Department of State implemented by WINROCK International in Kazakhstan.
Project Timeline:September 1, 2023 – May 31, 2025
Project Geography:Shymkent, Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions.
Goal:to increase the capacity of government agencies and NGOs in Kazakhstan to proactively identify, refer and provide assistance to trafficked children and children accompanying migrant workers in southern Kazakhstan using approaches that take into account the interests of children and their psychological trauma.
Target group:
- 80 government and NGO service providers.
- Micro-grant recipients to identify, refer and provide services to children.
