On 1 December 2022 a round table was held at the office of Civic Alliance in Shymkent city as part of the project "Provision of legal assistance to stateless persons in Kyzylorda, Zhambyl, Turkestan Oblasts and Shymkent city".

Specialists from interested parties, such as government organizations, law enforcement agencies and employees of organizations providing services to stateless people took part in the event on "Identification and provision of legal aid to stateless persons in Shymkent city and Turkestan oblast". During the event they discussed the results of the project of the current year, identification of undocumented persons in Shymkent city and Turkestan oblast, registration of their birth, provision of medical care and access to education for undocumented children. Participants discussed joint plans for next year, noting the effectiveness of interagency partnership.
