As part of the USAID-funded Safe Migration in Central Asia project, implemented by Winrock International, a series of trainings by the Smart Navigator program is being held for students at colleges in Shymkent.

For mobile youth who frequently migrate for education and work, the Smart Navigator program offers trainings on human trafficking, covering various aspects of safe migration, identification of trafficking victims, and safety measures during migration. In order to reinforce children's knowledge, video clips, group work and interactive activities are shown during the trainings.

In Shymkent, the pilot program "Smart Navigator" was tested in 2021 by NGO "Sana Sezim" in partnership with the Industrial and Technical College. The new program, created as a result of the pilot program, was offered to students of the Industrial and Technical College and the Polytechnic College.
