On July 28, 2022, on the eve of the World Day against Trafficking in Persons, which is annually celebrated on July 30, at the initiative of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan the conference "Prevention and Combating Trafficking in Persons" was held.

The conference was attended by Elvira Azimova, Kazakhstan's commissioner for human rights, members of NGOs, international organizations and government agencies. On behalf of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" the director of the organization Shakhnoza Khassanova made a speech about the importance of a comprehensive partnership in the fight against human trafficking.
