On December 3^rd, 2021 as part of the "16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence" campaign, awareness-raising activities were held at the Railway Station of Shymkent and the Qyrgy Bazaar.

Employees of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim", the Shymkent City Akimat, the Center for Special Social Services № 3 and the Polytechnic College conducted explanatory work on the types of violence, on the identification and assistance to persons subjected to domestic violence. Information booklets prepared for the event were distributed to the public and posted on the information boards, later were handed over to the administration of organizations for further distribution. Residents and guests of Shymkent, after being familiar with the information about the assistance and preventive work in the sphere of domestic violence, noted the relevance of the problem and wished success in the work.
