The Legal Center for Women's Initiatives "Sana Sezim" contributes to the global action "16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence". One of our main objectives today is not only to provide all possible assistance to victims, but also to explain the rights of women and children in Kazakhstan.

Awareness campaign "Youth against violence!" was held on December 1^st, 2021 in the Dendropark of Shymkent together with the Department of Physical Culture and Sports.  Our bright orange bracelets were especially popular with young people: boys and girls were eager to try on the fashion accessory and were asking questions about how the rights of women and children are protected in Kazakhstan today. Employees of the "Sana Sezim" telling about the action, emphasized that a healthy and happy family in which there is no place for violence - the basis of the Kazakhstani society. And we should all strive for this! Thanks to the cooperation of all interested parties, including media representatives, we can inform a large number of people. We especially want to note the non-indifference to the problem of violence on the part of journalists. A professional independent journalist Alisa Masaleva always raises such relevant topics and makes an invaluable contribution to the fight against domestic violence.
