On October 25, 2021 a press briefing on the campaign to end statelessness was held in Taraz. Representatives of the Migration Service Committee of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Kazakhstan, NGO partners of the UNHCR, KIBHR and PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" spoke about the achievements and prospects of the campaign in Kazakhstan.

Representatives of interested organizations, such as local executive bodies, law enforcement agencies and NGOs providing assistance to stateless persons had an opportunity to receive answers to their questions. During the briefing it was noted that the UNHCR's international campaign #IBelong will continue in the Republic of Kazakhstan until May 2022, thanks to the cooperation of the Migration Service Committee of the MIA RK, the Ministry of Justice RK and the UNHCR's partners.
