On October 12, 2021in Shymkent, the opening ceremony of the Civic Resource Center took place. The opening ceremony was attended by the First Deputy Akim of Shymkent city Sh.Zh. Mukan, President of the Civil Alliance of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ms. Nurgazieva and Chairman of the Civil Alliance of Shymkent Mr. Bilisbekov.

They noted the special place of the center in the development of civil society and wished success in its work. Also at the opening of the center staff member of the PA LCWI "Sana Sezim" has spoken about the development of civil society in the years of independence, achievements, new ideas, and the role of NGOs in solving social problems. A fair of NGO members of the Civic Alliance of Shymkent was held as part of the event. Guests of the event toured the newly opened consultation and co-working areas. This resource center will allow to hold NGO events and strengthen the partnership between NGOs of Shymkent.
