On September 28, 2021,an interdepartmental meeting was held on the work of the pilot project aimed at preventing human trafficking and identifying victims of human trafficking in the Karaganda, Mangistau and Turkestan regions.

During the meeting, the results of the pilot project of the mobile group, aimed at providing legal advice and informing the public about the problem of human trafficking in the regions of Karaganda, Mangistau and Turkestan were discussed. At the meeting, which was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the General Prosecutor's office of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of the Population of the Republic of Kazakhstan, IOM and NGOs, the importance and prospects of interagency partnership, as well as the experience of interagency cooperation and mobile groups of the Republic of Moldova were discussed. Participants had the opportunity to discuss and offer their ideas for improving the work of mobile groups.
