In Shymkent during the operational and preventive measure "Stop Trafficking" 2 cases of pimping were revealed On September 19-24, 2021, a national preventive measure "Stop Traffic" was carried out in Shymkent city. The main purpose of the event is to prevent and detect crimes related to corruption, human trafficking and other offenses.

During the event, four cases were detected under part 1 of article 309 of the Criminal Code, seven cases under article 449 (solicitation in public places) and two cases under article 450 (knowingly engaging in prostitution or providing premises for procurement) of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and an administrative protocol was drawn up.

In the course of operational and preventive measures, officers of the Criminal Police Department of the Shymkent City Police together with the “Sana Sezim” Legal Center conducted explanatory work in peasant farms, farms, winter camps, remote areas and construction sites to detect instances of human trafficking, sexual exploitation and forced labor, recruitment of people for exploitation, abduction, detection, prevention and suppression of crimes related to Shymkent police officers warn that criminal liability is foreseen for committing crimes related to human trafficking and pimping.
