"Stop Human Traffick!" under the financial support of the European Commission Representation of Kazakhstan

Objective: To prevent the trafficking of women and children to Kazakhstan's destination countries and increase awareness on human trafficking within Kazakhstan.

- Trained 20 specialists for a more efficient institutional base to eliminate human trafficking.
- Involved 920 youth between 13 and 18 years old at trainings.
- Informed potential victims and associated officials of organizations through distribution of 1,000 brochures of "People Trade: Principals of Personal Safety."
- Consulted over 3,000 clients on the confidential telephone hotline.
- Informed 12,000 people on human trafficking through distribution of other materials.
- Over 1,000 clients received legal consultations.
- Over 1,000 clients received psychological consultations.
- Regular coverage in mass media informed viewing audience in South Kazakhstan Region.
