“Safe Migration in Central Asia Project” financed by USAID and implemented by Winrock International, cooperated with PA Legal Center for Women’s Initiatives “Sana Sezim” to Combat Trafficking in Persons and promote safe migration.
Project Timeline: September 1, 2020 – August 26, 2021.
Project geography: Shymkent and Turkestan region.
Project goal: To raise awareness on Countering Trafficking in Persons (CTIP) and safe migration among the at-risk population (particularly designated for different groups, including youth, men and women) using innovative methods through social networking and ICT tools, printing and distribution of information materials where it’s necessary.
Target group: Youth, migrants, trafficked persons, at-risk individuals, private sector companies, labour inspectors, health and education professionals, migration officers.
