The lecture participants received information on the implementation of the NGO Sana Sezim’s program in partnership with the UNHCR and the Embassy of Switzerland in Nur-Sultan “Providing legal assistance to stateless persons in southern Kazakhstan”, about the existing problems of undocumented citizens and stateless persons, about minor children who have never received a birth certificate and whose citizenship is unknown.

In addition, the lecture covered the explanation of the rights of stateless persons in accordance with national and international standards, provided information on established cooperation with representatives of state and law enforcement agencies in the field of assistance in documenting the population of southern Kazakhstan.
