January 20, 2020 in Nur-Sultan, the Fourth meeting of the Coordinating Council  on “Protection of Children in Migration Processes in Kazakhstan” was held with the support of the European Union and UNICEF in Kazakhstan. The meeting was attended by representatives of state bodies, academic, international and non-governmental organizations took part.

The purpose of this meeting was to review and plan the further implementation of the Program for the Protection of Children in Migration Processes in Kazakhstan. During the event, progress, subsequent actions to implement the Program, changes in the legislation on migration issues, recommendations of international experts were discussed, as well as the main results of the country study on unaccompanied and separated children were presented.
