On September 5-6, 2019, in Nur-Sultan the Second Regional Conference on the right to establish a law personality and prevention of statelessness was held. “No one should be forgotten at birth” The main goal is to consider the specific efforts and results achieved in Central Asia in resolving the issue of birth registration, taking into account the clear task of preventing statelessness and ensuring that no child is born stateless.

It is expected that the Conference will result in the development of regional recommendations for the exchange of best practices in the field of legislative and procedural changes, consideration of remaining gaps and necessary follow-up actions to ensure that all children born in Central Asia are registered at birth and have access to certificates of birth and the right to citizenship.
