Project Geography: South Kazakhstan Region.

Project Goal: Ensuring the stability of the socio-political situation of the region on issues of domestic violence and human trafficking through the provision of informational, advisory, legal, psychological services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking, as well as drawing public attention to the problems of domestic violence and human trafficking. Ensuring the implementation of the Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan - Leader of the Nation N. Nazarbayev to the People of Kazakhstan “Strategy” Kazakhstan-2050”: a new political course of the established state”, as well as providing support to the programs of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and clarification of the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Project activities:

• Conducting at least 5 training workshops on trafficking in persons, outreach and educational work in conjunction with law enforcement officials on combating violence;
• Organizing the provision of ongoing information and advisory, legal, psychological services for victims of domestic violence and human trafficking with the assistance of analysts (it is necessary to provide written information to the customer about the services rendered on a quarterly basis);
• The organization of the helpline, the journal of appeals, quarterly provide written information to the customer;
• Conduct 2 training event for representatives of government agencies that provide special social services to victims of trafficking;
• Preparation of materials for events held (program, protocol, list of participants, schedule for 10 days ahead, agreed with the customer in advance);
• Preparation and distribution of booklets on the prevention of domestic violence (at least 5,000 copies in Kazakh and Russian languages); leaflets for citizens traveling abroad to preserve security and prevent trafficking in violence (at least 5,000 copies in Kazakh and Russian languages);
• The organization and holding of the action dedicated to the international day to combat violence - November 25;
• Carrying out the final event on the results of the project;
• Informational support of the main periods and outcomes of the event in periodic and electronic media.
