From 15 – 16 November 2017,the international conference (Trust Conference) on combating human trafficking was held in London. The Trust Conference is the world's leading anti-slavery and human trafficking forum that brings together global corporations, lawyers, government representatives and human rights defenders to take action.

This annual event was launched by the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2012 as "Trustworthy Women" and has evolved to cover a wider range of human rights issues. To date, the name has changed into “Trust Conference”, in order to reflect the more active attention of the movement to the solution of the world's largest human rights issues. The fight against slavery and the empowerment of women continues to be a major issue.

Within two days, 600 participants from 41 countries received information, knowledge and skills from keynote speakers from around the world who are leading experts in combating trafficking in persons.
