Training ”Protection of Rights and Provision of Services: Victims of Trafficking in Persons”

From 16 – 17 June 2016, the training “Protection of Rights and Provision of Services: Victims of Trafficking in Persons” took place in Almaty and was organized by IOM of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Purpose of the training:increase knowledge and skills of social workers from the public and non-governmental sector that are necessary to protect rights and provide social services to victims of human trafficking. From the NGO “Sana Sezim” participated Shahlo Yuzupshanova.

At the training, following sessions were held:

  • Standard operating procedures for identification, redirection and provision of services.
  • Methods of social work with victims of human trafficking
  • Methods and tools for monitoring and evaluating the quality of special social services.
