Project timeline: 1 October 2014 – 8 August 2015.

Objectives:

• To improve the level of legal knowledge among 600 women in Shymkent and brodering areas about their rights and mechanisms by providing them legal assistance.
• Provide informational support by conducting ToT for 20 undergraduate lawyer students on human rights, access to justice and applying the legislation in case of violation of human rights among socially vulnerable population.

Expected Results:

• A more efficient institutional base will be created on comprehensive protection of human rights by better awareness and enhancing professionalism of employees.
• Population will be better informed about human rights and organizational practices of protection of their human rights by conducting training for 20 undergraduate lawyer students who will in future will be NGO volunteers and provide legal assistance to population.
• 500 women will receive support and help from telephone hotline.
• 600 women will receive individual legal consultations.
