Human trafficking – big problem all over the world, including in Kazakhstan. Its main victims of human trafficking stay are children and women. There are various forms of human trafficking, but the most common - trafficking in women in the sex industry.

When the people on the street asking: "Do you know anything about human trafficking?", many of their simply shrug their shoulders and smile silently. BUT!!! We are thinking, that young people must be informed about this issue.

NGO Legal Center for Women's Initiatives "Sana Sezim" implements the project "Prevention of Human Trafficking" with the financial support of the IOM-USAID, as part of the project activities is the training for youth.

23-24.10.2013 was held the training for young man and girls in "Miras" college. 

Upon completion of training, many of the participants says, that before the training they had a different view of sex workers. Participants felt that the sex workers is a criminals, and for society - immoral people. According to them, the criminals are the only victims themselves. But at the end of training, they saw the back side of this phenomenon.

It is encouraging when you see that the work that you do, give positive results.

We are confident that the more young people will be informed, the less will be the victims of human trafficking!
