From 22 through 27 August 2011, South Kazakhstan Oblast Police Department along with NGO  “Sana Sezim” and the Committee for Women and Social Demographic Policy of the South Kazakhstan Oblast Akim’s Office held the action “Stop Violence in Family.”

The goal of the action: explanation for population about the new forms of prevention, directed for protection of life and health of those people who faced the problems of domestic violence and informational campaign in mass media.

During the action the booklets, other information materials were distributed throughout the population of Shymkent city, lectures and conversation in various organizations were held.

On 22 August 2011 department against violence towards women of the South Kazakhstan Oblast Police Department, NGO  “Sana Sezim” and the Committee for Women and Social Demographic Policy of the South Kazakhstan Oblast Akim’s Office have organized an informational campaign in Ken Baba Park, booklets and brochures were distributed on prevention of domestic violence.

Along with the representative of department against violence towards women of the Al-Farabisky District Police Department of Shymkent city, family visits were organized in which there were registered the cases of domestic violence, conversations in state and private enterprises were carried out.
