November 9-11, 2009, President of NGO "Sana Sezim", Khadicha Abysheva, participated in the annual international seminar on strengthening international legal cooperation (both formal and informal) between origin, transit, and destination countries for human trafficking in Central Asia. It was held in Ashgabat, Turkmenistan. The organizers of the seminar were: UNODC and the International Organization for Migration.

The seminar covered the following topics:
• The criminalization of trafficking - resolving the problem of "dual criminality" that prevents international legal cooperation;
• Measures to provide assistance and protection to victims of crimes related to trafficking;
• Cooperation between law enforcement bodies and NGOs.
